Karndean Refresh is a specialist floor treatment designed to revitalise the appearance of Karndean Designflooring while adding an additional protective layer to the surface.

Applied after preparing the floor with Karndean Remove, Refresh creates a satin-like finish that helps enhance the appearance and durability of the flooring. It is applied undiluted in two thin, even coats as part of Karndean's recommended periodic floor-care system.

How to Use

1. Prepare the Floor: Ensure the floor is completely clean and dry. If Karndean Remove has been used, thoroughly rinse away all traces before applying Refresh.

2. Apply the First Coat: Using a suitable applicator and Karndean Refresh pad, spread a thin and even layer of undiluted Refresh across the floor in one direction.

3. Allow to Dry: Leave the first coat to dry for approximately 30 minutes.

4. Apply the Second Coat: Apply a second thin coat in the opposite direction to the first coat to help achieve even coverage.

5. Clean the Pad: Rinse the application pad thoroughly after use.

6. Final Drying: Allow the finished floor to dry for approximately 6 hours, or preferably overnight, before returning it to normal use.

Dilution

Apply undiluted. Do not dilute Karndean Refresh with water.

  • Coverage is based on application according to Karndean's recommended method
  • Actual coverage may vary depending on application and floor condition

Drying & Use

  • Between Coats: Approx. 30 minutes
  • Final Drying Time: Approx. 6 hours or preferably overnight
  • Protect the floor from heat, strong sunlight and draughts while drying

Important Information

  • Use Karndean Remove before applying Refresh where an existing treatment needs to be removed
  • Ensure all traces of Karndean Remove have been thoroughly rinsed away before application
  • Ensure the floor is completely dry before applying
  • Apply undiluted
  • Apply two thin coats rather than one heavy coat
  • Allow approximately 30 minutes between coats
  • Protect the floor from heat, strong sunlight and draughts while drying
  • Allow approximately 6 hours drying time or preferably leave overnight
