Karndean Refresh is a specialist protective floor treatment designed to revitalise the appearance of Karndean Designflooring while adding an additional protective layer to the surface.

Applied after preparing the floor with Karndean Remove, Refresh creates a satin-like finish that helps protect against everyday marks and fine scratches while maintaining the appearance of the flooring. It is applied undiluted in two thin, even coats as part of Karndean's recommended periodic floor-care system.

How to Use

1. Prepare the Floor: Ensure the floor is completely clean and dry. Where an existing treatment needs to be removed, prepare the floor with Karndean Remove and thoroughly rinse away all traces before proceeding.

2. Apply the First Coat: Do not dilute. Using the Karndean applicator with a suitable Refresh pad, spread a thin and even layer directly onto the floor in one direction.

3. Allow to Dry: Leave the first coat to dry for approximately 30 minutes.

4. Apply the Second Coat: Apply a second thin coat in the opposite direction to the first coat to help achieve an even finish.

5. Final Drying: Allow the finished floor to dry for approximately 6 hours, or preferably overnight, before returning it to normal use.

6. Clean the Applicator: Rinse the application pad thoroughly after use.

Dilution

Karndean Refresh is ready to use and should be applied undiluted. Do not dilute with water.

  • 750ml: Approx. 15m²
  • Equivalent Coverage Rate: Approx. 20m² per litre
  • Coverage is based on application according to Karndean's recommended method
  • Actual coverage may vary depending on application and floor condition

Important Information

  • Use Karndean Remove before applying Refresh where an existing treatment needs to be removed
  • Ensure all traces of Karndean Remove have been thoroughly rinsed away before application
  • Ensure the floor is completely dry before applying
  • Apply undiluted
  • Apply two thin coats rather than one heavy coat
  • Allow approximately 30 minutes between coats
  • Protect the floor from heat, strong sunlight and draughts while drying
  • Allow approximately 6 hours drying time or preferably leave overnight before normal use
