Barrettine Wood Protective Treatment is a low-odour, oil/spirit-based wood sealer designed to nourish and protect exterior pre-treated timber.
Its deep-penetrating formulation contains high-quality water-repellent resins that provide excellent water repellency and beading, helping to reduce water ingress and the associated swelling and twisting of exterior timber.
Ideal for outdoor treated timber structures including sheds, fences, trellis, pergolas and timber gazebos, the treatment allows the natural grain and texture of the wood to remain visible. Coloured versions also contain UV fade-resistant pigments to help protect the appearance of timber against the effects of sunlight.

Great product and value, compared to other sites. Looks great on new fencing.
It’s taken a lot of wasted time and money to find the natural colour I was looking for. I have now found it with this product! Has the consistency of water so not easy to apply cleanly but well worth the effort.
Very easy to work with this preserve. Good quality, arrived very quickly. And have a look on results
The grey awful looking shed became a beautiful new one. I am very happy with my purchase.
My delivery was unfortunately lost by the courier (Evri), but the supplier handled the situation incredibly well. They responded within hours — even though it was the weekend — and immediately arranged a replacement to be sent out on the next working day.
Their communication, speed, and willingness to resolve the issue were outstanding. The product itself is great, but the customer service is what really impressed me. Highly recommended.
Took a few coats to get the depth of colour required, have now got a deep black finish perfect
Great price and quick delivery
Jaxons had the best price with free and fast delivery, well done and thank you. I’ve used this product before and it’s easy to apply, penetrates well into the wood and looks good for a long time.
Initial purchase was to treat a very large garden table and chairs.
Loved the colour ( Golden Brown)and how easy it was to use, covered brilliantly, dries very fast and when it rained you could see the pooling of the water. That impressed, I bought another 5 ltrs and did the shed. Very well recommended
I have used this item previously pleased with outcome, excellent service from this company pity about evris performance.
This is a lovely colour when used on light wood. Will probably go for two coats though. Used a spray gun which was easy. The product is very thin so does run a bit so protection needed for under the fence.
Great product goes on easy soakes well into the wood and repels water
Excellent order processing & dispatch. Reliably informed logistics and fast delivery. Generously priced product means value for money quality. Superb customer care & service, thankyou so much.
Great service
Excellent price, and communication throughout with quick delivery, thank you.
Really good product and fast delivery from Jaxons
Really excellent service and product at very good price.
5 stars 👍👍
Brilliant fence treatment - used for the first time because I was not able to get the Chestnut Cuprinol Solvent Based fence paint but I will certainly buy this one next time. Far superior. Plus, free next day delivery - what more could anyone want? Unfortunately, I wanted two cans but you only had one in stock. But I will come back to you next time.
Best price with very prompt delivery included. Excellent service. Treatment easily applied and looks good.
Fab
Brings out the grain. Not a nasty streaky wax finish like cupinol preserver.
Had an issue eith the courier but supplier sorted this and was understsnding. Good service and communication. Will use again.
The seller packaged the product well and dispatched it quickly. Product does a great job too. Thank you.
Delivery from Jaxon's was swift.
The product is very fluid and easy to apply. The first coat took in more than the second and so obviously soaked in more.
Looking forward to see how it handles North of England weather.
Excellent oil, it covers well. Excellent fast delivery and packed well too.
I've used this product before, Jaxons had the best price and quick, free delivery, thank you.
Excellent product and cheaper than all other suppliers I could find
I needed this product quickly before the bad weather hit and your prices were competitive, your service swift, and your packing first class, so I'm a happy customer, thank you!
This was the best priced can of wood preservative I could find for my friend's new shed. Really easy to apply with a spray bottle and soaks into the timber. Bought a second can for my neighbour's memorial bench. Again, quick and easy to apply with a great finish. Arrived wrapped in more environmentally friendly paper rather than plastic or polystyrene.
Excellent product. I have used it each year on our summerhouse.
I have used this before so very used to it. Good at waterproofing with a few layers but will need a repeat application if permanently in the sun. I covered a wood shed and a wooden shed.
Very quickly delivered and cheapest on the net at the time of purchase so great supplier
