Footfixx Hollow - Pack of 4

 Mounting instructions;

Installing our Footfixx Hollow is quite easy when you follow the steps below:

• Remove the current plastic cap
• Place the base part in the hollow tube
• Tighten the base part with an Allen key until it is tight
• Click the protective foot onto the base part

Do not use the Footfixx Hollow for drop-shaped, diagonally cut, oval or rectangular furniture legs. Use the Footfixx Wood instead and screw it into the original plastic insert.

Please note that our glides require occasional maintenance.

Note for bent chair legs:
Some chairs have slanted legs which are bent towards the end of the tube, making the bottom part of the chair legs straight. For this particular type of chair legs, the length of this straight bottom part is very important:

Length base part of Footfixx Hollow small: 30 mm

Length base part of Footfixx Hollow medium: 36 mm

Length base part of Footfixx Hollow large: 52 mm

If the length of the straight bottom part is longer than the length of the base part listed above, the Footfixx Hollow is not suitable for your chairs. Instead, the Footfixx Wood can be used by screwing it into the original plastic inserts of the chair legs.

Sizes for round tubes

Inner diameter of 10–14 mm: small

Inner diameter of 14–21 mm: medium

Inner diameter of 20–30 mm: large

Sizes for square tubes

Inner dimensions 10 × 10 to 13 × 13 mm: small

Inner dimensions 14 × 14 to 18 × 18 mm: medium

Inner dimensions 19 × 19 mm: medium*

Inner dimensions 20 × 20 to 26 × 26 mm: large

Inner dimensions 27 × 27 to 30 × 30 mm: large*

*Put foam or another filling around the base part in order to reduce the inner dimensions of the tubular leg for the base part to stay in place.
