How to Use

1. Prepare the Floor: Ensure the floor is clean, dry and free from wax, dirt and other contamination.

2. Sand to Bare Wood: Sand the floor back to clean, bare wood and retain clean, fine sanding dust from the floor being treated.

3. Prepare the Filler: Mix Bona Mix & Fill with the fine sanding dust until a smooth, workable consistency is achieved.

4. Apply: Apply the prepared mixture to the floor using a stainless-steel trowel, working it thoroughly into the gaps and minor defects.

5. Allow to Dry: Leave the filler to dry completely before further sanding. Deeper or wider filled areas may require additional drying time.

6. Sand: Sand the repaired surface smooth and remove all sanding dust.

7. Finish the Floor: Once correctly prepared, apply the chosen compatible Bona floor finishing system.

Coverage

• Approximate Coverage: 8–10m² per litre
• Actual consumption will depend on the number and size of gaps and defects being filled

Important Information

• Must be mixed with suitable wood sanding dust before application
• Do not use as a standalone clear filler
• Use clean sanding dust from the floor being treated for the closest possible colour match
• Suitable for gaps up to approximately 2mm wide
• Drying times may increase for deeper or wider gaps
• Carry out a test area when working with unusual, chemically treated or exotic wood species
• Minimum application temperature is approximately 13°C
• Always follow the current Bona technical instructions before use
