It can also be used for thinning suitable solvent and oil-based paints. When used for paint thinning, Bartoline White Spirit is formulated so that it does not affect the drying time of the majority of oil-based paints.

Brush Cleaning: Remove as much excess paint as possible before using Bartoline White Spirit to clean the brush. Work the solvent thoroughly through the bristles as required.
Paint Spills: Apply carefully to suitable surfaces to help remove compatible paint spills, following the product label and paint manufacturer's instructions.
Paint Thinning: Add only the amount required to suitable solvent or oil-based paint and mix thoroughly. Always follow the paint manufacturer's recommended thinning instructions.
