Barrettine Teak Oil Spray - 500ml

Preparation

Ensure the timber is clean, dry and free from dirt and repellent coatings before application. Where necessary, remove lichen, algae, moss and similar deposits before treating the wood.

For exterior use, Barrettine recommends applying a suitable wood preservative treatment first and allowing it to dry before applying Teak Oil.

How to Use

1. Prepare the Timber: Ensure the wood is clean, dry and free from dirt, existing repellent coatings and surface contamination.

2. Apply: Spray the Teak Oil onto the timber and spread evenly using a suitable cloth or brush.

3. Build the Finish: Apply 2–3 thin coats for an even treatment.

4. Allow Between Coats: Leave approximately 12–24 hours between applications.

5. Final Drying: Allow a minimum of 1 day after the final coat before using the treated item.

6. Clean Equipment: Clean suitable application equipment after use with Barrettine White Spirit.
