Barrettine Log Cabin Treatment Clear - 5 Ltr

Preparation

Ensure the timber is dry and free from dirt, paint, varnish and other repellent coatings before treatment. Do not apply over sealed timber previously coated with paint, varnish or conventional wood stain.

For unpreserved timber, Barrettine recommends applying at least two coats of Barrettine Universal Preserver before applying Log Cabin Treatment.

How to Use

1. Mix Thoroughly: Shake or stir the product well before and during application.

2. Check Conditions: Do not apply below 5°C, in damp conditions or if rain is expected within 24 hours.

3. Apply: Apply an even coat in the direction of the wood grain using a brush, synthetic roller or suitable sprayer.

4. Back-Brush if Required: When applying by roller or sprayer, back-brush the treated timber to help ensure even coverage.

5. Additional Coat: One liberal coat is normally sufficient. If a second coat is required, allow 12–24 hours before application.

6. Clean Equipment: Clean application equipment after use with Barrettine White Spirit.

• Smooth Timber: Up to 5–8m² per litre

Actual coverage may vary depending on the condition, texture and absorbency of the timber.
