LTP Ferrex Iron Stain Remover is a professional acid-based treatment specially formulated to remove rust outbreaks and brown iron staining from hard ferrous natural stone.
Natural stone can contain traces of iron which oxidise when exposed to moisture, rain or certain cleaning products, resulting in unsightly rust and brown discolouration. LTP Ferrex works deep within suitable stone to remove these iron-related stains and help restore the appearance of the surface.
Suitable for interior and exterior use, it is particularly suited to sandstone, granite and slate and can be used on floors, walls, patios and paving.

How to Use
1. Test the Surface: Always test on an inconspicuous area before full application to confirm suitability.
2. Prepare the Solution: Dilute LTP Ferrex with water between approximately 1:1 and 1:3, depending on the severity of the staining.
3. Apply: Apply the prepared solution evenly over the affected surface. A garden sprayer can be used for suitable exterior areas.
4. Agitate if Required: For severe staining, agitate using a short-haired scrubbing brush or black emulsifying pad.
5. Allow to Work: Leave the treatment to work for approximately 3–6 hours.
6. Rinse: Rinse the treated surface thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
7. Repeat if Necessary: If staining remains, the treatment can be repeated after a couple of days.
Dilution
Dilute approximately 1:1 to 1:3 with water depending on the severity of the iron staining.
