LTP Colour Intensifier & Stainblock is a professional impregnating sealer designed to enhance the natural colour and appearance of natural and artificial stone while providing strong protection against water, oil, grease, dirt and staining.

The penetrating formula enhances the colour and character of the surface while maintaining an attractive natural matt finish. Unlike surface coatings, it allows the treated material to breathe, making it suitable for a wide variety of interior and exterior applications.

It performs particularly well in wet areas including bathrooms, wet rooms and swimming pool surrounds and can also be used on suitable floors without a damp-proof course.

Directions for Use

The surface must be completely clean, dry and free from contamination before treatment.

If necessary, thoroughly clean the surface with LTP Grimex and allow it to dry completely before applying the sealer.

Apply LTP Colour Intensifier & Stainblock thinly and evenly using a cloth, brush, sealant applicator pad or sponge.

Allow the product to penetrate for approximately 15–30 minutes.

Wipe the surface thoroughly with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth to remove all excess product.

The treated surface should retain a natural matt appearance. Do not leave excess sealer on the surface, as this can oxidise and produce an unwanted glossy or varnished appearance.

For more absorbent surfaces or where stronger colour enhancement is required, additional coats can be applied.

Allow approximately 30–60 minutes between coats.

Drying & Curing

• Initial Drying Time: Approx. 2 Hours

• Full Resistance: Approx. 3 Days

• Keep the treated surface completely dry for a minimum of 3 days after application

• Do not apply in direct sunlight

• Do not apply above 25°C

• Switch off underfloor heating before application

• Ensure good ventilation during application

Coverage

Coverage varies considerably depending on the porosity and absorbency of the surface.

Per approximately 10m²:

• Lower Porosity Surfaces: Approx. 1–2 Litres

• Higher Porosity Surfaces: Approx. 3–4 Litres

Typical coverage is therefore approximately 2.5–10m² per litre, depending on the surface and number of coats applied.

Aftercare

For regular maintenance:

• Floors – Clean with LTP Waxwash

• Walls & Work Surfaces – Clean with LTP Stonewash

Using suitable maintenance products helps preserve the appearance and performance of the treated surface.

Important Information

• LTP Colour Intensifier & Stainblock is difficult to remove once fully cured

• Do not over-apply

• Remove all excess product before it dries

• Always test on an inconspicuous area before full application

• Surface must be completely clean and dry

• Do not apply in direct sunlight

• Do not apply above 25°C

• Do not apply with underfloor heating switched on

• Keep treated surfaces dry for at least 3 days

• Use in a well-ventilated area

• Follow the current product label and safety instructions
