How to Use

1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the surface is clean, stain-free, absorbent and completely dry before treatment. Newly installed surfaces may require drying for up to approximately 8 weeks. Surfaces recently cleaned or exposed to rain may require several days to dry completely.

2. Test First: Always create a test area in an inconspicuous location before treating the complete surface to check the resulting colour enhancement.

3. Apply: Apply Lithofin MN Colour Intensifier thinly and evenly using a clean roller, sealing brush or flat brush. Allow the product to penetrate into the surface.

4. Additional Application: Highly absorbent surfaces may require a second application.

5. Remove Excess: Do not allow excess product to dry on the surface. On less absorbent surfaces, remove excess with a clean, dry cloth before it dries. Applying too much product to a weakly absorbent surface may result in unwanted shine.

Dilution

Ready to use. Do not dilute.

Application Conditions

• Surface Temperature: Between 5°C and 25°C
• Do not apply in strong or blazing sunlight
• Switch off underfloor heating before application
• Only apply to completely dry surfaces
• Ensure good ventilation during and after application

Drying Time

• Walkable After: Approximately 30 minutes
• Completely Dry: Approximately 24 hours

Coverage

• Typical Coverage: Approximately 7–15m² per litre
• Actual coverage depends on the type, texture and absorbency of the surface
• Highly absorbent surfaces will generally require more product

Durability

For correctly maintained indoor surfaces, the treatment provides long-lasting colour enhancement and protection.

• Exterior Colour-Enhancing Effect: Approximately 1–2 years
• Exterior Protective Effect: Approximately 5–7 years
• The treatment can be reapplied when the colour-enhancing effect begins to fade

Actual durability will depend on the stone, location, weather exposure and maintenance.

Important Information

• Only treat completely dry surfaces
• Not suitable for non-absorbent surfaces
• Do not use on porcelain stoneware

• Protect glass, polished surfaces, wood, lacquered surfaces and plastics against splashes
