The SYR Interchange Edging Pad Holder Set is a versatile floor cleaning system designed for scrubbing, stripping, buffing and polishing tiles, grout, stone and other suitable hard floor surfaces.

The 25cm edging pad holder is supplied with four different grades of colour-coded cleaning pad, allowing the cleaning action to be matched to the surface and level of soiling. Its compact design is particularly useful around floor edges, corners and other areas that can be difficult to reach with larger cleaning equipment.

Part of the SYR Interchange system, the holder can be connected to a compatible SYR Interchange handle, allowing floor cleaning to be carried out conveniently from a standing position.

SYR Emulsifying Pad Guide

  • White – Polish: Light to medium scrubbing for smooth and polished stone
  • Red – Buff: Medium scrubbing for smooth and polished stone
  • Blue – Scrub: Medium to heavy scrubbing for unpolished, riven or antiqued stone and tiles
  • Black – Strip: Heavy-duty scrubbing and stripping for unpolished, riven or antiqued stone and tiles

How to Use

1. Select the Pad: Choose the appropriate pad according to the surface and level of cleaning required.

2. Attach the Pad: Secure the selected pad to the underside of the edging pad holder.

3. Attach the Handle: Connect the holder to a compatible SYR Interchange handle.

4. Apply Cleaning Solution: Apply the appropriate cleaning or stripping solution according to the product manufacturer's instructions.

5. Agitate the Surface: Allow the recommended contact time where required, then work the pad evenly across the surface to agitate the solution and loosen dirt, staining and contamination.

6. Remove Residue: Remove the dirty cleaning solution and rinse the floor thoroughly where required.

7. Clean the Pad: Rinse reusable pads thoroughly after use and allow them to dry before storage.

Important Information

  • SYR Interchange handle is not included
  • Always select the correct pad grade for the surface being cleaned
  • Black and blue pads provide a more aggressive cleaning action and may not be suitable for delicate or highly polished surfaces
  • Always test the selected pad on a small, inconspicuous area before general use
  • Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the cleaning, polishing or stripping product being used
  • Rinse reusable pads thoroughly after use and allow them to dry
