Dr. Schutz ScratchFix Repair Set is a professional floor repair kit designed for the partial renovation of scratches and stress whitening on vinyl, LVT, PVC design floors and other compatible resilient floor coverings.

The complete kit contains two specialist repair products for different levels of damage. The PU Repair Spray is designed to restore areas affected by fine surface scratches, while the PU Repair Pen is used to fill and repair deeper individual scratches.

Supplied with the necessary preparation and finishing accessories, ScratchFix makes it possible to carry out targeted repairs without renovating the entire floor. The system is designed to closely match the gloss level of modern design flooring for a discreet, professional-looking repair.

PU Repair Pen – Deeper Scratches

• Thoroughly clean the damaged area so it is free from dirt and grease

• Prepare and smooth the damaged scratch using the supplied accessories

• Remove all resulting dust before repair

• Shake the PU Repair Pen thoroughly before use

• Prepare the pen according to the supplied instructions

• Carefully guide the pen along the scratch, applying the repair product only where required

• Allow approximately 10–15 minutes before making any necessary adjustments to the gloss level

• The repaired floor can return to normal use after approximately 6 hours

PU Repair Spray – Fine Scratches

• Ensure the damaged area is thoroughly clean, dry and free from grease

• Prepare the surface using the supplied grey abrasive pad

• Remove all dust before spraying

• Shake the PU Repair Spray thoroughly

• Spray evenly over the damaged area from approximately 30–40cm away

• For best results, apply 2–3 light applications

• Allow approximately 5–10 minutes between applications

• Allow the repaired surface to dry before returning the floor to normal use

• Normal use is possible after approximately 6 hours

Important Information

• Designed for partial and localised repairs rather than complete floor renovation

• Always clean and prepare the damaged area thoroughly before application

• Very deep scratches or damage extending through the floor's wear layer may not be completely concealed

• Differences in gloss may remain depending on the condition and finish of the existing flooring

• Always test on an inconspicuous area where suitability is uncertain
