Dr. Schutz Carpet Dry Foam is a specialist dry foam cleaner designed particularly for moisture-sensitive natural-fibre and oriental carpets.
The gentle foam cleaning system is ideal for materials where excessive moisture should be avoided, including wool, silk, coir, jute, sisal and hemp. It can also be used for intensive cleaning of suitable upholstery, textile wall coverings and decorative textile coverings.
After application, the foam is worked into the fibres and allowed to dry completely before vacuuming, helping to remove accumulated dirt while minimising the amount of moisture introduced to sensitive textile surfaces.

How to Use – Carpet Cleaning
1. Vacuum: Thoroughly vacuum the carpet before application to remove loose dirt and debris.
2. Shake Well: Shake the aerosol can thoroughly before use.
3. Apply: Hold the can with the spray nozzle pointing downwards and spray the foam evenly over the area to be cleaned.
4. Work Into the Fibres: Work the foam into the carpet using a suitable natural-fibre shampooing brush.
5. Allow to Dry: Leave the treated area to dry completely for approximately 2–4 hours.
6. Vacuum: Once completely dry, thoroughly vacuum the treated area to complete the cleaning process.
How to Use – Upholstery & Fine Textiles
1. Vacuum: Thoroughly vacuum the surface before application.
2. Shake Well: Shake the aerosol can thoroughly before use.
3. Apply: Hold the can with the spray nozzle pointing downwards and apply the foam evenly to the material.
4. Work Into the Material: Work the foam into the textile using a damp foam-rubber pad or suitable sponge.
5. Allow to Dry: Leave the treated surface to dry completely for approximately 2–4 hours.
6. Vacuum: Once completely dry, vacuum the treated surface thoroughly.
Coverage
Approximately 10m² per 400ml aerosol. Actual coverage may vary depending on the material, level of soiling and application method.
